Tories must end their double standards over drugs – The Times
All this fuss about the wrong confession. Rory Stewart’s admission that he smoked opium at a wedding in Iran so as not to look rude is the most Tory, and indeed the most British, admission of drug use imaginable. Yet at least as much attention ought to be paid to Jeremy Hunt’s chortling on the same day that “I think I had a cannabis lassi when I went backpacking through India”.
The first thing to say about this is that it’s a bit fishy.
