A significant statement isn’t it?  Regrettably, we’re over 2 years on since it had been declared from the Centre for Medical Cannabis and Volteface, that the legislation was changed and the task was completed.  Patients could finally have cannabis on prescription and wasn’t it embarrassing that 25 decades of campaigning was in vain and it took was some Conservative party donors to perform exactly what exactly the UK cannabis community had summarily didn’t attain?

Except it’s not quite all that good, is it?  Let’s consider a bit of an evaluation of the current state of affairs.  At present, it would seem that children are still unable to get cannabis (a material with a zero toxicity degree ).  Would it have something to do with all the deliberate ramping up of false injuries, consolidating public fears and then presenting a very tightly controlled model that the Daily Mail reading, Tory voting public could take?  The model, therefore tightly controlled that children cannot get a medication with established evidence based therapeutic price.  The identical medication their counterparts across the commonwealth are now able to freely get, from Jamaica into Toronto and South Africa into Granada.  The Queen has given her imperial ascent into our fellow citizens but not to us.

Lately, having told everyone about the risks and the mortal danger of high intensity THC, that organisation (Volteface) subsequently jumped right into bed with a Texan firm making, yep you’ve guessed it, high strength THC extracts.  The hypocrisy is sickening.

We’ve observed a 4 year effort, led by an industry think tank, a think tank which has completely divided the community to worthy vs non-technical. As they split consumers into worthy versus non-technical (private individuals and CBD consumers worthy, everyone else — non-worthy ). In cases like this, worthy were people being ready to take some cash and distribute their propaganda (or throw their peers beneath a bus) and the non-worthy, being the actual activists, the growers, the caregivers, the people without whom GW Pharma would not have some strains to develop.  The worthy get ego massages, TV and radio interviews, websites and posters, the worthy gain smeared and isolated by their own community.

And for what?  Just how a lot of those people involved in that lobbying network are in fact growing cannabis or supplying for patients?  How much current personal clinic supply of blossom is being fulfilled by UK grown produce? How much expertise do these firms awarded a license actually have in boosting this medication? One such licenced producer exists in the UK to now supply blossom, The Sapphire Clinic. The rest of the legal cannabis improved on scale in the UK is for GW Pharmaceuticals two products Sativex and Epidiolex which are prescribed in different states than here in the UK.

If you choose to employ to get into one of these clinics”innovative access schemes”, you’ll get discounted medical cannabis in return for handing on your personal medical data. But having seen the standard of the flowers being shipped out to individuals who can afford or are ready to pay the commission [1] it does not look as though they’re producing anything near the caliber that’s been available through cannabis social websites for the previous ten decades.

Is it any wonder why the black market is flourishing?

But the biggest disaster in all this, is the true absence of progress to patients.  Bastians of the motto”no patient left behind” as they clinked their china cups together on the lawns of Parliament. It’s no surprise that they no longer exist, so their offices absorbed to Hanway St and the functioning shut down.  “No patient left behind…” well I suppose at most of these have been left so there’s some equity because when nothing else.

What really matters about this, and these lobby groups despise organisations like the UKCSC, is that this boils down to accessibility into the plant.  Large cash conferences attended by huge corporate management consultancies and Canadian venture capitalists don’t actually do anything to further the access to this plant to the individual.  They are not cannabis conventions, but they’re cash conferences but the noise and PR about them bamboozles the people who see these items as positive forces for change.  THEY ARE NOT.  Giving people access to this plant, teaching them how to increase undermines each of the profit based model.  This means if a person is developing their own cannabis, or is a member of a golf club, they are not paying a premium price for their medication.  It’s either free or free of charge.  They don’t like that because this is about cash, not access.  Always was.  And when there is less money for these, well…… you see, they don’t want to view redistribution, unless it’s within a few of their possessed”vertically integrated distribution chains”.  A term you hear a great deal if you socialize with the cash men of cannabis.  It sounds hot and trendy but it means they own and manage the entire shebang, from seed to sale, the supply of consumables, the IT, the transport, the recruiting service, EVERYTHING.  That’s a vertically integrated supply chain, so that the community cannot feature anywhere inside and it stiches up the business which makes it impenetrable to all those people the reform ought to be benefiting.

Thus, in reaction to this threat to profit presented by the UKCSC, they put up Canncard, which has been a stunning failure.  And worse than this, the consequence of the failure is harm to those who rely on developing their own distribution who had been duped into thinking they somehow had immunity against prosecution under a police endorsed scheme.  They couldn’t be farther from the reality.  This little wheeze was also a shining instance of another favoured strategy to silence criticism.  Using vulnerable girls to front their attempts to ensure when we criticise we could be branded bully’s and misogynists, assaulting vulnerable girls who are trying to do something to us.

They have not just been occupied targeting the best to grow though.  They are very busy making sure it’s so expensive and cumbersome to work in, that the UK home CBD marketplace has also been totally decimated.  Now, a couple of large corporates selling isolate, perhaps not even full spectrum extract, dominate whilst businesses built up using hard graft and sweat during the previous decade have been shredded.  You can just play if you can pay the (massive) subs into the proper Trade Association.  That sounds like some type of protection rackett if you ask me.  As a direct result of their interference in all this, individuals who know fuck all about cannabis heading on TV with banners calling them”cannabis specialists” are directly influencing UK government policy.  As a result of this, Hemp farmers in the UK are no longer process their crops such as CBD.  Just how much is that? At a time once the economy needs a severe injection of sustainable cash… and we will need to be especially cautious here.  Do not believe me? …. .

Sofar we’ve:

Patient access — screwed for normal people (unless you can afford a personal prescription)

Right to grow — screwed for normal Individuals

UK CBD industry — screwed for normal Folks

Getting a excellent return on this — double hard onto the consumer, the culture and the community.  Inform us who is getting paid from the Tories, and who is becoming entangled and shafted by these and voices in our own community that they are manipulating?

Money talks, and in a number of respects, it’s enabled them to squash our voice — temporarily at least.  But now the community is now waking up to the new reality.  The divisive nature of the endeavour has pitched buddies against each other and also averted dedicated campaigners from working in unity.  It introduced into a community that has been anything but covetous and it is clear that they despise cannabis however they love cash.  So there is a lesson for all people, and also a wake-up call should we care to listen to it.  I would love to believe that the community can re-galvanise itself, if it can not or isn’t ready to, then don’t say we did not warn you….
